Support people who have lost their sight due to war

Together with WEYS GUIDE DOG and the Hope for the Future Foundation, we are giving them new independence.

About
WEYS GUIDE DOG

WEYS GUIDE DOG is Ukraine's first initiative to create a professional guide dog training center for veterans, children, and civilians who have lost their sight as a result of war.

Currently, there is no state system in Ukraine

that provides guide dogs to blind people.

The aim of the project is to provide veterans and visually impaired people in Ukraine with a real tool for independence, mobility, and rehabilitation.

About us

We are Fundacją „Nadzieja Na Przyszłość”(National Foundation for Aid to Ukraine) —
a Polish charity supporting social initiatives for Ukraine.

The WEYS GUIDE DOG project is implemented by the Ukrainian non-governmental organization ГО “ВЕЙС ГАІД ДОГ” from the city of Sumy.

The initiative works in cooperation with the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) as a candidate for membership and is based on international training standards.

Her website was created to raise funds for a project that should become the basis for a national guide dog training system in Ukraine.

100% of the funds raised will go to a special endowment fund, ensuring the sustainability and transparency of financing.

Why is this important now?

Ukrainians are losing their sight not only as a result of injuries, but also due to stress, evacuation difficulties, and limited access to medical care.

Tens of thousands of people will need not only treatment, but also the opportunity to return to an active life.

A guide dog is not just a helper. It is a symbol of freedom, dignity, self-confidence, and social integration.
